Punong Barangay Brix Ostan Bagged the Eighth Slot

Today was a triumphant day for Punong Barangay Breccio Magaro Ostan, Jr. as he bagged the position as the official eighth member of the Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of Bugasong thru drawing lots.

On May 13, 2019 Midterm Elections, he garnered a total of seven thousand two hundred sixty four (7,264) votes similar with the incumbent Sangguniang Bayan Member, Hon. Geraldine Peroy Pesayco in the eighth slot.


After the Municipal Board of Canvassers headed by Mrs. Liberty A. Esparagoza rescheduled the breaking of tie for the two candidates from May 19th (Sunday) to the 20th of May 2019, they convened at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall at the Bugasong Municipal Building at around 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon. Witnessed by supporters and family members of both candidates, the candidate of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP Laban) in the person of Punong Barangay Brix Ostan, Jr. emerged victorious.

Hon. Geraldine P. Pesayco, after thanking the members of the Board of Canvassers and showing exemplary act of sportsmanship to Hon. Breccio M. Ostan, Jr. by extending congratulatory remarks, left the venue together with her kins and supporters.
